We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud data infrastructure. You will work with modern AWS, Snowflake, and streaming technologies to support reliable data operations and analytics.

Data Pipelines

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and Python
• Implement incremental, batch, and CDC workflows (AWS DMS, Kafka)
• Develop dbt transformations for data quality and standardisation

Cloud Data Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage AWS-based data platforms
• Build streaming pipelines with Kafka
• Configure and optimise Snowflake environments
• Implement IaC using Terraform

Databases & Integration

• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Snowflake
• Perform Snowflake performance tuning
• Manage data modelling for analytics
• Implement data connectivity and movement solutions

Monitoring & Operations

• Set up monitoring and alerting for pipelines
• Troubleshoot data quality and pipeline failures
• Manage secrets via AWS Secrets Manager
• Ensure data security through encryption and access control

• Evaluate Snowflake OpenFlow as a future CDC solution
• Contribute to architecture and platform roadmap
• Progress toward data architecture responsibilities

Technical Skills

• Strong Python & SQL
• AWS (Glue, DMS), Snowflake, dbt
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server
• Kafka for streaming
• Terraform, CI/CD, IaC
• Familiarity with GraphQL APIs and AWS Secrets Manager

Experience

• 5+ years in data engineering
• Strong ETL/ELT development background
• Experience with CDC, Real Time and batch processing
• Knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, SCD, governance, and monitoring best practices
