Data Analyst

Salary: £55,000-£85,000 (DOE)
Contract: Permanent or Subcontractor (£300-£450/day)
Location: Primarily remote with occasional on-site work in London
Clearance: Candidates must be able to undergo UK Security Clearance

About the Role

We are recruiting full-time Data Analysts with strong public sector experience to join our growing team. You will work closely with our clients, primarily in government, law enforcement, and criminal justice environments to support data migration, integration, and transformation programmes.
The role is remote-first, with occasional travel to client sites in London.

Due to the nature of our work, all successful applicants will be required to undergo UK Security Clearance checks.

Key Responsibilities

. Work closely with end users, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and validate outcomes
. Analyse and interpret complex data structures to support successful data migration projects
. Design, document, and deliver data mapping specifications aligned to business and technical needs
. Maintain data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration life cycle
. Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for process improvement
. Produce clear documentation and reporting to support governance and audit requirements
. Support system integration and large-scale transformation programmes
. Apply best practice in information governance, data security, and public sector compliance

Requirements

Essential:

. Proven experience in data mapping and data migration projects
. Minimum 3 years' experience in a Data Analyst role (public sector preferred)
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
. Ability to engage confidently with users and translate business requirements into technical specifications
. Proficiency with SQL, databases, and ETL tools
. Excellent verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills
. Strong documentation and written communication abilities
. Experience using JIRA or similar project tools
. A collaborative team player with a proactive, energetic, and ambitious approach
. Minimum A-Level education plus further relevant education or hands-on experience

Highly Desirable:

* Experience working with law enforcement or criminal justice organisations

Salary & Contract Options

* Permanent: £55,000 - £85,000 depending on experience
* Subcontractor: £300 - £450 per day (experience dependent)

Interview Process

  1. Initial 20-minute screening via Microsoft Teams with the Managing Partner
  2. 30-minute competency interview
  3. Optional final face-to-face discussion with a member of the management team
