Risk Analyst - 7 Month contract £625 pd (inside IR35)

My client a leading company in the financial sector are on the lookout for a Risk Analyst - CRR/TRC with a functional focus. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a Risk Analyst - CRR/TRC - Functional, you will play a key role in supporting our risk management and compliance initiatives, with a focus on various applications and technologies used within the organization. The successful candidate will have knowledge in at least one of the specified areas and be willing to learn others to some extent. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional expertise in areas such as SAP or other ERP systems, data analytics systems, and C/ETRM systems.
• Perform configuration and troubleshooting of ERP system functionality, including areas associated with Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Logistics processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address functional issues and requirements related to E/CTRM systems.
• Read and debug code for troubleshooting purposes, utilizing languages such as ABAP, C#, and HTML.
• Write and interpret complex SQL queries for troubleshooting and analysis purposes, involving multiple tables and join conditions.
• Manage change management and version management in software development processes.
• Support integration with other systems, including interfaces using IDocs, XMLs, flat files, APIs, and Middleware systems.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a functional analyst or consultant for ERP systems, with working knowledge in areas such as MM/SD SAP modules.
• Experience with E/CTRM systems such as Allegro Horizon, Endur/Openlink, RightAngle, Triple Point, etc.
• Proficiency in reading and debugging code for troubleshooting purposes (not development), with languages such as ABAP, C#, and HTML.
• Ability to write and interpret complex SQL queries involving multiple tables and join conditions.
• Experience with change management and version management in software development.
• Familiarity with integration concepts and tools, including interfaces, APIs, and Middleware systems.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and platforms such as Azure and AWS.
