Security Administrator - Manchester (Contract)

Location: Manchester Country: UK Rate: £450 - £500, Inside IR35
 

Security Administrator - Manchester

Hybrid: 2 days office - 3 days home

The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of various security tools and platforms, ensuring the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security tools such as Trend Anti-virus, Cloudflare, Email filtering, Microsoft 365 security, and Nessus Tenable scanning solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer day-to-day security tools, including Trend Anti-virus, Forescout, Email filtering, Microsoft 365 security, and Nessus Tenable scanning solutions.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of AWS services and manage security aspects related to AWS, such as Active Directory, Entra, etc.
  • Align company access policies with the Zero Trust networking model, using SASE technologies like Cloudflare.
  • Good understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 requirements and experience in aligning security policies with customer-specific requirements is a plus.
