Firewall Engineer - Fortigate vacancy for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Developing and maintaining support processes and tools for the global Firewall infrastructure
• Configuring and maintaining authorization rules for access to security devices
• Enhancing and automating recurring Firewall operating tasks, including hardware/software maintenance, policy, and rules management
• Providing 1st and 2nd level support for the Network Firewall, VPN, and IPS infrastructure
• Creating concepts and technical designs for new or changed customer requirements and further development of Network Security Firewall, VPN, and IPS solutions
• Ensuring adequate know-how transfer to stakeholders by maintaining service documentation and conducting presentations or learning sessions

Your experience/knowledge:

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience with a strong focus on configuration and troubleshooting of enterprise network Firewall infrastructures like Fortigate
• Exposure to working in an international and fast paced environment
• Strong methodological skills in analysis and visualization of complex issues
• Proficiency in network security authentication and compliance tools like LDAP, RADIUS, Cloud based auth and AlgoSec
• Expertise in Linux Scripting would be advantageous
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
